highoeyazmuhudee Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 on the positive, they take gen date discs
Ephry73 Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 All yokes aside. I have had three y3135s serviced which are all working without issues. All well within COSC specs. Gen disc will fit with slight mods. All other parts fit very well. E
automatico Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 A Wise Man once said: Go Eta or Go Broke. He also said: No Date = No Trouble. A guy just bought the best hearing aid in the world... He came out of the audiologist's office and was walking down the street when he met a friend. He said: "Hey, I just got the best hearing aid in the world, it cost me $6000!" The friend said: "What kind is it?" The hearing aid guy said: "What did you say?" The friend said: "WHAT KIND IS IT?" The hearing aid guy looked at his watch and said: "It's about 3:15." 1
dropbear2008 Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 I think you are missing the point here. The benefit of the yuki 3135 is that gen parts can be used. The ETA clone 3135 has been around for a while, but if you have to clip dial feet and use aftermarket hands why bother ?

Yuki etc 3135 clone parts are n/a. Very few genuine parts will work other than date wheels/dials. Etaclone parts are n/a and not all genuine Eta parts will work on an Etaclone. Genuine Eta parts are plentiful and affordable.

Ephry73 Posted June 10, 2013 Report Posted June 10, 2013 Yes, gen hands, disc(slight mods), rotor fits with no issue. Gen dial as well and no need to clip the feet. Gen set screws fit with no problems either. E
firansky Posted June 11, 2013 Report Posted June 11, 2013 check this http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/160076-rolex-3135-gen-vs-sa3135/

Very few genuine parts will work other than date wheels/dials. Yuki takes a lot of gen parts. Besides... movements with no spare parts become spare parts
omgiv Posted June 11, 2013 Report Posted June 11, 2013 What are you guys having to do to the genuine date disc in order for it to work? I am working on my basket case yuki 3135 right now, but the date wheel seemed to fit and work without any mods. Thanks!!!
quaresma7 Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 YEs gen hands fit with no problem. Yes, gen hands, disc(slight mods), rotor fits with no issue. Gen dial as well and no need to clip the feet. Gen set screws fit with no problems either. E Thanks so much guys!
