Just got my Tag Link Calibre 16

so just got this watch and had some trouble resizing but here are the pics. looks pretty good but the logo seems a bit off.

the strap is definitely lacking especially compared to my gen.

 

what do you think about this on a leather strap? not sure if leather straps are made for this watch?

i really am disappointed in the strap and feel like i'll at least invest in better ones but would rather not spend a ton on link straps. what options do i have?

Logo looks a lot better that some I have seen.  Don't sweat it, enjoy!  Its a rep

I don't know if that's possible if I look at the lugs but I think it looks very nice on a black leather strap with a white stitch, I don't know Tag Heuer have straps for this model but maybe you can ask a strap maker on the forums to make something you like for it?

Well...this is what http://www.calibre11.com/tag-heuer-link-review/ says:

 

While the early S/el watches featured an integrated case and bracelet, the newer watches have traditional open lugs. This means that leather straps or other bracelets will fit easily, although the Link is the only current series that is sold only on a bracelet- there is no official leather strap option for the Link.

 

So there isn't any need for a special strap

I guess i'm stuck with this strap then. i forgot about the way the links are help to the watch.

when this one came, she was like "wuh, maybe i should get one." haha.

Does anyone put leather on the Link Calibre 16?? Trying to find some pics..

never see links with leather straps but they look nice on carreras. so should look fine on yours get a nice shiny black alligator with deployment, think some of the dealers sell copies or look on the bay i picked up a nice blue 1 for £60
