masmannan Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 Hi All,Thanks to everyone who gives AP advice. It's really appreciated and it's helping with my addiction to APs.I have in my small but growing collection:AP Diver 3.5SafariSilver Themes (Panda) incoming.I have a sweet spot for Rubberclads: black dial, white dial and 57.The Royal Oaks look kind of small. The MH looks a little dandy. I like it but I don't think it's me. What says you guys?Masmannan

martijnp Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 That is a beauty Sardonix!! My favourite AP is the 26402, but unfortunately there is no rep of this one
8pm Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 How's the quality of the gold plating on the montoya?
gran Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 With great 3 APs already Masmannan you should try something quite different before you become addicted like a Mille CHOPARD or even an SMP OMEGA
Motoman4540 Posted July 22, 2013 Report Posted July 22, 2013 I have a Montoya, and it is a very sweet watch. I highly recommend one.
zero_deficit Posted July 22, 2013 Report Posted July 22, 2013 How's the quality of the gold plating on the montoya? Assuming it uses a DLC gold finish as the makers claim it does, it should be better lasting than usual plating on other gold reps. I recall someone doing a test on the gold finish, and it stood up quite well. I too want a Montoya, but still waiting for it to be back in stock Other than that, perhaps the new 15400 by BP makers that's already out or the two other makers who haven't released theirs yet
aa007210 Posted July 22, 2013 Report Posted July 22, 2013 I would say the ROO Diver with Swiss ETA 2824-2 movement. I had one myself. It runs plus 2/24H but sold it because it was too big for my wrist. Stunning watch perfect quality case, strap and also the movement.
