Any pics of "canal street" replicas?

I've seen many pics of extremely nice watches on this forum but in order to gain more knowledge, I'd like to study the really low end reps.  Anybody got any pics of basically really bad Rolex reps?

Thanks,

Tim

Hopefully, no one here is silly enough to own any (at least, not paid for). You should be able to locate what you seek by searching google for 'canal street Rolex' (or similar).

& before you respond with 'Can you itemize the differences between a Canal Street &........', read Toad's Newbie guide, which is pinned in the Introduction & Rules forum, & then visit your local authorized Rolex dealer (AD) to learn what the genuine watch feels & looks like. You might also locate a copy of Richard Brown's 'Replica Watch Report' (or any of the other myriad numbers of rep watch guides available online), which, while a bit dated, details the general differences between various levels of replica watches. Then, if you have specific questions, post them here.

Canal street pretty much sells low end quality stuff. Maybe higher quality stuff exists, it probably does, but I never saw any in all the times I'd go. I haven't been in 2 years, but the last time I was there everything is all hush hush. You'd have guys coming up to you with little booklets containing pictures of sun glasses, watches, bags. It used to be everything was on the street or in the back of shops, not anymore.

I like walking around canal I always find interesting stuff. Last time I was there i found some cool paintings, a sword, bought my turtles, but if ur going there looking for high end reps your better off buying online.

Thanks for posting the pics.  By the way, I have handled better replicas and genuine Rolex watches, it's just that I want to see some of the really bad stuff.

Are these watches Quartz or mechanical?

My old man was able to snag a really good Day-Date there, when I snagged a pre-ceramic Sub there (for kicks and giggles) it was all over the place and absolutely crap (for their popular seller). I learned my lesson quick and got a BP ceramic sub and a gen Sub not too long after that. I wished I got pictures of it before I just trashed it. Lol.

I can remember back in the early 90s, seeing a few really bad quartz datejust watches but the cheapest looking and feeling were some Gucci watches that were all over the place.  Had to be 2 dollar watches.
