Guest Ezel Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 So i just joined this forum. I joined another replica forum a few years back but cant remember if it was this one or another one (asume they are more) Never own a replica watch before, but when the gen forums are so boring i thought I would try the replica ones. I have read so much these few days on this forum that im amazed what you guys do! You order a replica and then you mod it to be as gen it can, and for the most time i can easy find your tricks and point out whats not going to fly, but again i see some real good stuff. So here is my 1675 gmt from 1977, enjoy and pleas try to rep it
Big Dazza Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 pm sent with intent haha. lovely looking watch!

Big Dazza Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 haha stunning photos! Just out of interest how much do these fetch on the market these days?
Guest Ezel Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 haha stunning photos! Just out of interest how much do these fetch on the market these days? It depends on many things. Like if it has been polished, serviced, service dial ect ect. Mine is from 1977 and it has a jubilee bracelet from 1972, new serviced, No service dial or hands and just polished one time, light polished! I say tiu can find a realy realy nice one from anything betwen 4000-6000K This watch is so much more fun then a submariner!
Big Dazza Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 I agree! Must save up and get one eventualy. Been itching for a nice gen vintage Rolex for a long time!
modelizer Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 (edited) Ooohhh, that ol' thing is sooo nice! The tomatoes look yummy too! Edit to add: Welcome to the cuckoo's nest! Edited August 9, 2013 by modelizer
woof* Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 Welcome to the forum Ezel! Beautiful Gmt! A little side advice, never discuss reps on gen forums, and it's a good idea for you use different usernames there. They don't appreciate replicas over there
Guest Ezel Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 Over there is over there, if i get reported so be! I bet tones of you are active here and there! Here is what i made this summer im not so mich in to lamb, im a more PIG guy but it was OK when it was done, i bet Modelizer loves it
irolexu Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 Haha at least it's not "never discuss gens on replica forums!"
Gabus Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 My chocolate 72 TT, service hands except gmt hand. Polished once, recently serviced.
modelizer Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 Here is what i made this summer im not so mich in to lamb, im a more PIG guy but it was OK when it was done, i bet Modelizer loves it I am quite a big fan of lamb meat, yes.. Here is what was left after a little barbecue we had during a bachelor party a week ago.. Sorry Ezel, it has most probably already been used up as energy efter being recycled so no need to PM me an offer on the bucket..
preacher62 Posted August 10, 2013 Report Posted August 10, 2013 Love that long, thin flat case. You can't rep that.
woof* Posted August 10, 2013 Report Posted August 10, 2013 Love that long, thin flat case. You can't rep that. Wish we could!
ogladio Posted August 10, 2013 Report Posted August 10, 2013 Amazing watch, very envious of you mate!
concepta Posted August 10, 2013 Report Posted August 10, 2013 Amazing watch! Awesome pics as well! Enjoy the fora!
panerai153 Posted August 10, 2013 Report Posted August 10, 2013 Welcome, Beautiful 1675, very nicely depicted. Great photos. This and the 16750 are very, very difficult to rep, as there just aren't any rep cases out there that have that long thin profile, as well as having the closer in crown guards that fit the 5.3mm crown like the gen case. All the rep cases are spaced for a 6mm crown, and that doesn't seem like much, but when you put that tiny 5.3 crown in the 6mm slot, it's a sure tell. If you want a 1675/16750, the only way to go is gen.
