Nice looking sub Eric, but that bezel insert is earlier than the sub- you need the latest insert with the skinny 4 in 40. 

 

This noob case has the correct late model insert

I agree, very nice, if you can find a recent "pointy 4 insert, you will have a wonderful example of a 16610.those are really nice watches, and pretty darn close to perfect out the box.

Don't let the pointy 4 bother you! Nobody in the wild will know the difference...just put a gen 3135 in it and your good to go! Lol

I am confuse tho, does a gen y series take both flat four and pointy four?

yes...y series came with both flat 4 and pointy 4....how do I know?...I bought my gen Y series brand new in  2003 and it had a flat 4 insert....

By the way did ur flat four pearl have weaker lume then the dial? My pearl sucks..

Here's the early Y- serial- lugholes, boxy 4,

Next up is the late Y serial w/ the 16610 T case- no lugholes, pointed 4 insert
