Uuhhm what have i just bought? (Sub)

I hope some of you pros could help me a bit.

I have just bought this Rolex 116610. But can't seem to find on none of the TD sites... I bought it in Shanghai. And now I'm wondering if I payed too much.

First flaw is the polished mid links,must be brushed.

I know that. But i can't find a similar spec sub on the TD's.

You mean the color difference on the lume?

In person it's the same color. I don't why the blue on the hands stands out in the photos.

Roughly 125 usd And the bezel is ceramic by the way. And there is engravings on the rehaut.

Well not the end of the world at $125.00, 21j most likely. If you want a good one gonna have to pay more, chalk it up to experience.

Ephry that is true and I am sure one off our experts could pic it apart, I am not one of them. Sorry mads you made a mistake not the end of the world but if you are going to buy at Shanghai market better know your shit, stick to TDs for now.

Well...I'd say that's not lume...they dropped wax into the markers...at least this is how it looks to me

mads love the strap combo never thought of going that way! Hey it tells time the watch looks good on that strap you spent just 125 all good IMHO.

 

 

 

PS wow strap really growing on me off to the net to buy one! (got a source?)

Like that Burb strap for sure. Nice combo. The next step is a lume shot just to make sure.

The lume does work ok. Not like my PAMs but it is ok. 

The watch feels really well built. Bezel is really nice with nice even clicks and the crowns feels solid too. Lets see tomorrow how well it keeps time. The bracelet is off! But i never intended to use it anyway. (love natos)

But for now i´m happy with my 125$ spend.

Not bad for 125.00 definitely could have done better but I wouldn't say you way over payed...just slightly

Another question for you pros... Does most of the TD´s send the watches directly from China?

For 125.00 USD, not bad, the dial plots are not correct, their is too much lume in each one. Gen and good aftermarket dial plots are flat, not convex like this one.

mads yes from china a  few have stuff in UK/EU on a limited scale I believe.

The date is in the standard DG or ETA position...not Rolex. And the font looks like a standard DG date font. But hey...we're WISs.
