danielv2000
I have been the owner of this beautiful vintage piece for some time. It was an incredible build by weisn089 - all gen except for the Phong case and pushers. My original goal was always to have a white dial brother to this beauty. I almost pulled the trigger when Vlydog put up his beautiful and equally impressive 6263 last year. I still regret not pulling the trigger. Last week, I was fortunate to pick up Polexpete's beautiful 6265 Phong Daytona. Once i source a gen dial and hands, it will also be all gen except for Phong case and pushers. I have a nice black gen bezel waiting in the drawer... The hunt begins for a gen white dial. That will break the bank for sure. But it will scratch the itch I've been having for awhile. Introducing, my V72 twins.
Mapman57
Cracking pair, one for each wrist. Quite a bankroll to fulfill the white itch? Why do we do it..........?

cc33
Way to go, I wonder which you'll end up wearing more. I have always liked the black dials better but in the right light the silver/white ones are awesome! Enjoy the hunt
polexpete
Nice one Dan, i wanted to put a gen white dial in there too but shelling out that kind of dough would have me divorced in an instant ... Looking forward to seeing the dream Cheers P.

lhooq
Very nice, D! I've been wanting a black-dialed 6239 for a long time, and briefly had one in the forum of a 7750-powered DW. Unfortunately, the bizarre subdials turned me off so I got rid of it. So in contrast to you, I remain stuck in a silver-dialed rut!
krpster
Unbelievable pair (don't usually say that to a guy ). And to think I have been happy with my DW 6239 all this time...
freddy333
2 beauties, but, if you want gen dials, I think your options are limited to black or silver.

danielv2000
Thanks for the kind words and words of encouragement! Freddy, yes, I say white but mean Silver. I'm hoping nothing comes up for at least 6 months as I am really breaking the bank these days on this hobby. The problem with this hobby is that it really is a drug... always thinking of the next fix. Help a brotha out - do not offer me any gen Daytona Silver dial. But if you have one, please let me know.
