Look what arrived today!

I've been intrigued by this micro brand for a while and saw the opportunity to pick this one up. Steinhart Nav.B-Chrono 47 "Limited Gold Edition". Very nice homage watch! She has gold hands, gold rotor, and a gold ETA 7750. She came with a vintage weathered Buffalo strap and a new Honey Brown Buffalo strap. I thought I might do a catch and release, but I may keep this one for a little while!

Very nice 436NR, Steinhart make some lovely homages.

 

And it makes a nice change to get a watch that's actually waterproof and doesn't need servicing the second you get it!

you are so correct, Steinhart makes some pretty nice watches. I had a couple of their GMT's years ago, and they were around 500.00 USD brand new with a Swiss 2893-2 movement! you would pay that for the movement today.

Such a handsome watch, but that crown is a bit ridiculous to me.  Seems like it digs into your wrist?  Dealbreaker?

If you like to wear your watch low on the wrist then yes, it does leave a bit of a mark on the back if your hand. It really doesn't bother me. I consider myself a bit of a scrapper anyway! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
