My new daytona 6238

I bought this from a member on the other rwg. I always wanted this watch. I plan on buying a gen or a Sternkreuz crystal for it. I just dont like the way this one is, its too high. I have a gen bracelet for this but i will be using this navy blue ABP croc strap i bought a few years ago. The color is very nice on this watch. I hope u enjoy the pics. Any light modding advice would be great. Thank you.

Looks good! It must be the cartel version with that bicompax movement- the ST -21 or whatever we call it- Venus, Lemania....

That might be my next one. Really nice. Btw mine is the Venus one with frozen 6. I have a valjoux 7750 movement. Will I be able to put it in here?

No, the 7750 won't fit the Venus dial holes.

If you had a cartel dial w/ the 7750 it might fit in the case.

Your have to use the A7750 or the Swiss Val 7753( subdials 3,6,9. Problem is the dial you have won't fit the subdial holes with the 7750/53 movements. I would ask around a bit more and see if anyone has been successful installing a A7750 movement in the cartel case. If it works, you will need to source a new dial and hands so in the end, all you would be using from your old watch would be the case and bracelet. Dial, hands, and movement would be new.

Here's the cartel 6238 dial w/ the A7750. I put it in the DW 6239 case. Martin and I call it the redundant dial since it has two tachymeter scales, one on the dial and one on the bezel.

But with a plain bezel, you'd have a 6238
