New movement old watch, your thoughts please..

Please give me your thought on this, I am thinking of coming up with a custom vintage line of watches with different variants this movement in them. This is a true homage to the old with a new twist

Lovely photos of a lovely looking movement!

did this start off as an Asian 6497? Did you do the bridge engravings, that looks lovely apart from the gap in the double 's' in Suisse, the blue is nice.

Did you do the Y mod on the incabloc & swan neck reshape?

The main plate engravings are spot on, brilliant achievement there! The Marlin watch logo, love it

Here is the finished watch, the buyer requested custom engravings on the case back and very little ageing. And yes it is a closed case watch, but when the buyer saw the movement he has now changed his mind.
