ustmisha Posted November 29, 2013 Report Posted November 29, 2013 Hi guys! I am looking at the Titanium PO 45mm, but won't it be big for my 6.5" (15.5 cm) wrist? Maybe on rubber? My wrist is about 5.5 cm wide. Thanks!
Jonny2400 Posted November 29, 2013 Report Posted November 29, 2013 It does wear very light.. Here is it on my 8.2 inch wrist
ustmisha Posted November 29, 2013 Author Report Posted November 29, 2013 It does wear very light.. Here is it on my 8.2 inch wrist Thanks! BTW Looks nice! I know it's light, the size bothers me more, won't it be large or too thick? Sent from my iPod touch using Tap-a-Talk
Jonny2400 Posted November 29, 2013 Report Posted November 29, 2013 (edited) Actually I just got my wife to try it on, she has 6.75 inch wrist and it looked.. like she could (just) about get away with it I have a 42mm CrPO too it sits just as high, you might be better considering the noob 42mm liquid metal as it's thinner Edited November 29, 2013 by Jonny2400

madmole Posted November 29, 2013 Report Posted November 29, 2013 I have a 16cm wrist and the same watch. Its fine on my wrist. In fact its my favourite. I also have 42 mm version and prefer the look of the 45.5

ustmisha Posted November 30, 2013 Author Report Posted November 30, 2013 I have a 42mm CrPO too it sits just as high, you might be better considering the noob 42mm liquid metal as it's thinner But its 300$ for only Asian ETA.
indywatchguy Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 But its 300$ for only Asian ETA. True but sometime Asian ETA is better than Swiss because you get a new movement. Swiss ETA can be old and piece together from leftovers. Check out my LMPO QC pics in the Omega section. Good looking timepiece.
indywatchguy Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 I use to own a 45mm CrPO and couldn't get pass the fading bezel and see thru caseback even though it was a Swiss ETA it's a huge tell.
ExtraExtra Posted December 2, 2013 Report Posted December 2, 2013 I wouldn't worry too much...we're talking a few mm here. Wear it well.
madmole Posted December 2, 2013 Report Posted December 2, 2013 Measured my wrist and its exactly 16cm So here is my 40mm PO And here is my 45.5 PO And a comparison of the 2 click on any thumbnail to see full size. Think most folks will agree not only does the 45.5 work, but it has more presence than the 40 Stephen
jamler Posted December 4, 2013 Report Posted December 4, 2013 (edited) My wrist is 7" This is the 45mm PO Ti http://s689.photobucket.com/user/jamler/media/Omega%20PO%2045%20Blue/OmegaPO45Titanium.jpg.html Edited December 4, 2013 by jamler
jcagara08 Posted December 20, 2013 Report Posted December 20, 2013 Whoah nice wristies guys dang ya'll make me want to break my budget this holiday season eh? Waitin for the noob version of the ti crpo for my 6.5 wrist too, does it wear bigger than a 44mm pam? i guess that's the max watch size for us small wristed dudes Sent from my iPhone 5S using Tapatalk
rek001 Posted December 20, 2013 Report Posted December 20, 2013 6.5" wrist here - tried on the 45mm at an AD recently, it wore way too big, looked like a platter on my wrist, I think the design makes it look bigger on the wrist than it really is. My 44m Pams wear better.
luc717 Posted December 20, 2013 Report Posted December 20, 2013 I think it comes down to personal preference. I have a 6.5" wrist and my 45mm Ti PO on rubber looks great to me. I like watches with a large face generally but what made me go with the 45 is that I wanted a rubber strap, for a sportier and more casual look. With a t-shirt or casual jacket I prefer a bigger/chunkier watch. I also have quite large hands so that may be a factor in balancing it out a bit. For smart wear, it doesn't fit too well under my shirt cuffs, even under French cuffs. I'm a collar size 15 so I guess there would be more space in larger sizes. If I was buying one with the metal bracelet, which for me gives a dressier/smarter look, I would definitely go for the 42 for a 6.5" wrist. Some wrist shots (please ignore the soon to be replaced pearl!) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mike on a bike Posted December 20, 2013 Report Posted December 20, 2013 I guess it is a matter of task I think a 45 on a small wrist just looks overbearing. At about 8.5 in /250 mm I rarely go over 45 if at all.
indywatchguy Posted December 21, 2013 Report Posted December 21, 2013 I also think overall body size makes a huge difference. I have a small wrist but I'm not a small guy. A 48mm Breitling Super Avenger wears well on me barely 7 inch wrist.
Pontiaddict Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 I have a simple rule, if the lugs extend beyond your wrist (looking straight down) the watch is too big. If the size/fit is close and you prefer the watch then a rubber or leather band will look better than looking at the edge of a metal link. JMHO FWIW.
