Rolexman
It's the exact same. Only 3 bigger gear train jewels. In optics a big difference.

ciccio_started_it
Trying to get an idea how this movement compares size wise next to the a6497. Similar diameter and depth? Also, I think I read somewhere that the winding stem is the same as 6497? Incredible teardown Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
PAM2009
Hi all, I do not know if I post in the right place. I have the same watch that your review superclone the P3000. Except that I lost the glass unknowingly and as a result the minute hand fell with glass. I am disgusted because I find neither glass and neither the hand of the watch. The cannon pinion is compatible with other hand of the watch. It is normal glass fell, all alone, without even a shock. ? Plexi glass is only clipped on the case? I have to passed through the TD bought the glass and the hands watch? thanks you in advance. Edited March 24, 2015 by PAM2009

As for the plexiglass, you can prob measure the opening and find a replacement from CousinsUK. From my experience, ZF watches aren't built while. While I love my ZF 372, tons of dust inside the watch and its never been opened.

PAM2009
As far as I know the movement is the same. Yes, but the problem is not the movement. It is of whether the plexi is the same?
themannier
Great review, great work on a wonderful movement; mine keeps power for more than 6 days !
JMC
POWER !!! Sincerely, if you want a reliable watch, I'd better full wind it every 48h as much. After 48-60h those movements loose 2-3 minutes a day or more!!!
Crabber
Great write up...I'm trying to decase and replace a dial on one of these. It would appear that step one is to turn the stem screw 1 1/2 turns and remove stem.Remove the three screws for the movement holders, remove screw with tweezers and be careful removing hold down as there are decorative plates. In order to remove the dial, you would obviously remove the hands. I see the dial pins thru the back of the case. Are the held in with tension springs? How do you remove the dial?Anybody have experience here? swdivad
Hi Guys! Just a heads up on this movement, I set and fully wound this PAM 557 Saturday at noon... it's still ticking away keeping perfect time for FIVE DAYS so far!!! Hell, the movement is rated for 3 days from panerai, so now I'm confused!
