Likely. If the trusted dealers can’t get it, how can they? I’m only talking about the sellers that have these particular models that of out of production PAM reps. There are definitely vendors that will sell you a recent Rolex etc… and you’ll get the watch you paid for, but I don’t trust these other ones saying they have a PAM243 etc… My understanding of the way the scam works is, they send you a watch, it’s the wrong watch and you have to ship it back. When it reaches customs, they have to pay a tax to get it released, which they never do and claim they never received the watch. So they never have to refund you.

I see that sellers have them available but you’ll be scammed.

If only we were so lucky. They’re out of production for years. Only way to buy it is M2M, and putting up a WTB thread and just wait to see if someone has one they’re willing to sell.

You wont find hands anywhere unfortunately. As for the plexiglass, you can prob measure the opening and find a replacement from CousinsUK. From my experience, ZF watches aren't built while. While I love my ZF 372, tons of dust inside the watch and its never been opened.

The older steelfish non XL came with the polished center link bracelet. The hands are definitely Gen as the paint on the seconds hand goes past the end of the square. It stopped at the square on the rep. Also, the dial is very grey blue in some pics which is very indicative of it being Gen. I am leaning towards Gen. But who knows could be franken. Or maybe all of the pics aren't his. His photobucket with all pics is on repgeek.

I had problems with 3 out of 4 of my last reps shipped from TD's. Never had an issue with M2M sales. Ferrari rep had misaligned crown tube. SOSFv2 date wouldn't change over automatically, Omega hands were touching and time stopped same time every day. Costing me over $400 to get this stuff fixed.

I am about to embark on the same project. Minus gen dial. Have gen hands for Swiss movement with rep dial. Gen dials are hard to come by as are the gen bezels and keeping my eye out. I too bought the wath from toro and it basically blew up in days. The movement is crap.

I have been using Anthony Logistics and Lab SERIES for years. It def make a difference. I also use a safety razor with Gillette Blue something or other blades and I shave in the shower. Have been doing it like that for 20 years never got an ingrown hair. I switched to foam for a week and i got an ingrown hair so i know its doing something.
