coffindodger Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 So I was in work the other day and this colleague comes up to me and says " Hi mart I know you like watches, I'v got this old rep Rolex at home I will bring it in for you". Oh! thats nice of him I thought. Then yesterday he brings me in this 15 year old rolex he had been wearing for 10 years that he bought off the African gent round the bars in Spain. He said "The catch broke and I'v had a go at mending it: (With a hammer) "now I don't want any money for it you can have it just buy me a coffee. AHH now wasn't that nice of him, take a look at the pics Now am I being a little ungrateful or is this a piece of [censored]. Funny thing is at nearly 15 years old the thing still keeps good time( think it must be Swiss top movement probably 7750 valour lol) left it out last night and its still not flat. Now has anybody else been given a piece of [censored] come on lets have a look.

mymanmatt Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 Those old dials are hard to come by. Definate swiss 2836-2 or 2834-2. That shows how good the swiss movement is. You should thank him, very useable parts
