irolexu
The new Baselworld 2014 revealed the ceramic sea-dweller 4000ft! What's your opinion on this watch? I'm excited to see how the rep factories are going to do. http://m.rolex.com/watches/baselworld-2014/new-rolex-sea-dweller-4000.html
watcher
That should be easy to do fairly well. Don't like the raised sel fit though but this will affect dssd sales as it's much more classic. The red/blue gmt is perfect!!!
mjmj
It looks awesome. I will wait patiently for this one.
asciwhite
--- Very nice!! This and the new release Omega 300 is NEEEEED to get watches when they are repped!!
sputim
Awesome piece Did you guys notice at sec: 19 the second hand seems no longer covered (capped) where it is fixed at the canon pinion..?
DuDro
I'm curious how the new Sea-Dweller will impact resale values of the Deep-Sea ... I just saw a Deep-Sea for under $8K ... First time I've seen one fall to this level ...
dbane883
Lugs and CGs are an big improvement. But I think I'll stick with my
danielv2000
The SD is and always has been my favorite watch. I'm certain V3 of the rep will be awesome. The first batch will probably be a modified 116610. Although i loved the DSSD, it was too big. The SD 4000 is perfect and modern.

dbane883
The inner rehaut engraving really ruins it for me.. Case still a bit piggish... But orders of magnitude better than the DSSD imho
irolexu
I could daily wear this watch. So the dial appears to be matte and correct me if I'm wrong but are the crown guards smaller on this case then on the sub? How quickly do the rep factories rep brand new watches? aeromatic
The Rep Factories should make a real 1-1 rep of the older Sd before repping the ceramic !!!! how hard can it be and why so many mistakes !!!! they have had a lot of time to do it !!! Vegasvic
I like it! The new streamlined design should do well, and I know some people don't like the bulkiness of the DSSD, but I never had a problem with mine. I love the weight and heft of it, like a beefier version of the sub. But that's just me.
rower
At least they didn't ruin it more by releasing it in white gold only like they did with the Pepsi GMT.
irolexu
There is less demand on the SD... Don't expect them to start copying a discontinued model with low audience. We are discussing a brand new model that was just released. I agree they will not go the extra mile on repping the old discontinued 16600 but I do believe we will see a noob "v3" version of this new ceramic 116600 SSD. StormTooper4
Everything Changes. Nicer than the Deep Sea at least
Ephry73
I like the pelagos much better. The new SD is ok, better than the DSSD, but still no 16660.
irolexu
I am very pleased guys with the new SD as I know its not a 16600 but hey if you like the new rolex ceramic line up this watch is a must have and yes WAY better then a DSSD which no one in the world will ever need the depth rating and if your that deep your dead or in a submarine lol
