omegap7 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 (edited) hey all, didnt feel like spending 10k for this watch so i went with a Sillix "high quality" version and added a gen dial and crown. The crown it came with tarnished and generally looked like [censored]. In order to add the dial I had to remove the feet and glue, in order to add the crown I had to install a gen tube, surprisingly the case accepted this. whatcha think? DVNE Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 Wow! Looks excellent! I wish I could pull off a gold Day Date. I'm surprised the case took the tube without re-tapping.
watchme22 Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 Looks pretty nice! Where could I find of of those Sillix cases? Thanks!
Jkay Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 Looks pretty nice! Where could I find of of those Sillix cases? Thanks! Silix is a very long-term trusted dealer .. He has 2 different web sites. One site is for cheap and cheerful reps, and the other site is for the more expensive reps http://www.silix-prime.co/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=115_292
