The tidal current was flowing by out there past the other rock about 15mph, and behind me up on the mountain were 6 Dall sheep. Too bad the app couldn't zoom in on them! Sitting on that same spot, there are blocks of sea ice the size of houses churning around banging into each other and hitting the rocks. THAT is impressive.
