totalwise
The seiko monster (my daily) has left me with dark marks on my hand as the crown pokes inbetween my wrist & forearm. Basically digs into my skin. Looking for another confortabkle seiko that has a better designed crown (perhaps on the left than right) and is simple (date & time only, no chrono) I prefer auto movement ofcourse, not kinetic. Thanks
HaydenM
I haven't personally worn them but from the reading I have done about the seiko dive watches the SKX007 is often recommended heavily, not sure if the crown is different sorry. Good luck with your search, HaydenM

jdkno
The 007 and the monster both have the crown at 4 o'clock. I have both the 007 and the monster and don't see any difference between where the crown hits my skin. The one thing I do know about the 007 is the bottom of the case curves up if that makes sense. \____/ kind of like that rather than the monster which is more or less straight up from bottom to top. Mike on a bike
Above is 2mm smaller and the height on Monster the bezel so crown may sit higher on 009 and a 2mm back might do it, by the way wrist size?
UGLY
I need hacking and winding on my watches. My poor SKX007 gets little wrist time because of this. Maybe the new Monsters with 4r36s would be suitable. If you are willing to break the bank, then maybe the Sumo or Shogun with titanium case. They both have stout 6r15s. Maybe my grail? The SBDX001, also known as the Marinemaster 300.
