My TC crystal always seems to be dirty or oily. Is there anything I can do to it to help this problem? Also does the gen crystal suffer the same problem?

Thanks

Only way to solve this is to eat less burgers and try not to touch the crystal with sticky fingers ;)

I clean my Sub every day I wear it, just like any other watch...

Sapphire crystal on one watch should be same as every other sapphire crystal on all other watches. I've only heard that complaint on certain AR coatings.

I have OCD as I assume many of us do....I always carry a small microfiber or silk handkerchief to wipe off watches. Smudges drive me nuts.

I've had every crystal you can think of on there including now gen and they all seem to smudge/oil more than any other watch I own. I think it's the black dial in combo with no AR.

In contrast I have a couple black dials with crystals that are double AR coated and although they may smudge, one quick wipe and they appear perfect.
