cc33
Had some fun with macros today, the macro lens for iphone is really cool! I also used photoshop app to get the look I wanted.
hcaht
Good looks. Are you referring to a separate add-on lens?

cc33
Thanks guys, no tripod but that would probably help, I'll go get one .
Nanuq
I have a tripod ... it was a 4-legged dog until the bear got to him. Send me the watch and I'll photograph it for you!
dbane883
Its amazing what you can do with the iphone camera.. I rented a 105mm Canon lens from Vistek couple months ago for a few macro shots using a DSLR and a tripod... Your shots are just as good if not better... its all about the lighting too... You captured the warmth of the gilt dial/hands really well. Are those gen hands? Or CWP?
cc33
I haven't tried a real camera/macro setup yet but I can imagine it being cumbersome and hard to do in the windowsill unlike the iphone which is for the most part flat, it helps to really get into the shot. If I was using a light box then the iphone would be useless. It really is all about the lighting, the iPhones sensor is ok in good light and with the help of the macro lens and photoshop it creates some nice stuff. They are relumed and aged cwp hands
dbane883
This is the best I could do, unedited. Held a 10x loupe up against the iphone and tried not to shake. Your Ollioclip goes to 21x I think and is crystal clear.
cc33
The olloclip is only 10x or so I believe but I can use the iPhones zoom to enhance it. Those shots are all at the normal non zoom and these are using the digital zoom.. I've tried using a loop but the optics aren't ideal for shooting. cc33
Thanks Jion, I made it. Dbane, it's a phong case, I like the more prominent bevels on his vs the Minh case but others prefer an older look to their case Wow , great pics, what an amazing insert!!
