Rubber Strap from Ebay Seller "timepiecerepublic"

I have bought several straps from this vendor on ebay, in my experience the product is exceptional both their leather and rubber straps.  I had the straight end previously on a 42mm PO, it is soft and wore very well for over one year and going strong, the white stitch held up well against dirt and other stains, the rubber did get a bit shiny but it maintains easily.

The curved end's are new, so I purchased one for my 45mm PO "SkyFall"... yeah the one that doesn't exist in nature.  It installed easily and fits very well the curve is tight to the radius of the lugs and the standoff squares the watch nicely on the wrist.  The 45mm watch is much easier to wear with a rubber strap since as it tightens the watch to your wrist and really slims the profile of the watch on it's owner.  The texture is a bit of a suede/velveteen finish and only time will tell how well it repels dust and the like, but for now once again I am satisfied with TimePiece Republic and their strap.

Looks like a dust magnet to be honest. I'm not sure if they're still in stock but Trusty sells the rubber straps that are an exact replica of the genuine ones. I had a gen and a rep next to each other and I could hardly tell any difference in material or quality. About the same price too.

They sell the strap alone for $39.00, for a reasonable alternative in any size or color that's not bad...

add a logo clasp for $9.99 here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=181534891671  so not bad and you are not paying the 25-35 shipping charge on top either; at the end of the day it's an alternative, which fits well and wears well.

I once ordered a PO rubber strap from TP Republic and was quite disappointed.

I thought it was massively overpriced.

Ended up getting the rep rubber strap and clasp from Joshua and was very pleased.

I ordered the black rubber with deployant for my PO from Trusty Time for $85. It is a fantastic rep strap and is actually softer and more comfortable than my gen Omega rubber. In this instance, I would prefer the rep rubber over a cheap aftermarket strap.

FOLLOW UP... I ordered the 22mm size from TP Republic for my 45mm PO.  IT was actually like 21mm and had noticable gaps... They said they'd replacw when new shipment comes in.

Haven't seen replacement yet, will follow up.  In the mean time I found this...

SUPER REASONABLE price, just arrived yesterday with install tool, and 2 sets of spring pins... Impressed... It looks just like OEM.

I'm pretty sure it's just silicone rubber for that price. I mean, their blue one is translucent... Very bold claim to say it looks like OEM.

This is a picture of my rep straps from the TD's. You can tell from the orange one that the core is actually reinforced.

The BLUE Does look terrible... I bought the Black one with White Stiching... Feels very sturdy and thick.

Here is the update:  http://s689.photobucket.com/user/jamler/media/20150218_091459.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0

Flame Away... Looks great, feels great... Wouldn't be surprised if this is same as TD's

that stitching though ...

It really isn't, trust me. The TD's don't even offer the straps with white stitching. The only reason that strap is worth buying imo is if the included deployment clasp is any good.

I think the Omega clasp, both Gen and Rep is awful. Its a really bad design and pivots around on the strap, I've got a Gen and a Rep and they both do it, so you end up with the tail of the strap poking out from underneath the side of the clasp, they should have put another support just before the hinge on the clasp to hold the tail of the strap in place.

I bought a Blue one with white stitching from Trusty for my PO Goodplanet.
