gasebah
I guess there are only a thousand of these worldwide. Welcome to the age of low energy consumption and fuel efficiency. :-) [ attachment=129255:IMG_0242.JPG]

dbane883
For $900k, I'd expect slightly better fit and finish. Seriously, that is sloppy:
martijnp
Damn! This car is fantastic. I really love the 918 Spyder!
gasebah
If you look closer you will realize that the gaps are actually a design feature. Look at the first pic. The hood looks strange from the angle I had chosen. Again look at the first pic and translate what you see to photo of the hood. Trust me the gap has the exact same distance on all parts. I am a lousy photographer and only had little time. Edited September 24, 2014 by gasebah

GenTLe
For $900k, I'd expect slightly better fit and finish. Seriously, that is sloppy: It's obviously a V1 rep. Let's wait for the V2: with the current rep prices, selling a couple of APs will give me money to get one of these...
lhooq
I spotted one here in Toronto, around the time of the film festival. Gorgeous car. I especially love the 918 because it makes a mockery of EU regs, with exactly enough battery power to post ~80mpg fuel efficiency numbers. Yet few media outlets will highlight this, as they're so desperate to trumpet a sexy "green" sports car! And if hood fit bothers you, check out the panel gaps on the Ferrari 458 and the Bugatti Veyron!
