Gen or Fake GMT Master? Some strange magnifier...

Hi Guys,

 

I little guess game here. I do not know the exact answer. But this watch looks suspicious. That is not a 2.5x magnifier

Hands, insert, dial looks definitely gen but the magnifier doesn't look kosher. Maybe the crystal sits too low so the zoom effect isn't right or it's a franken with the wrong crystal tell us

Some GEN watches seem to have this strange magnifier that is all I know.

Might be my eyes playing tricks on me but that GMT hand looks like it's sitting at the bottom of the stack...just saying

naw. the hand stack looks right.

everything about it looks right but yea.. that date mag seems low.

The crystal looks pretty close to correct as far as height, maybe a tiny bit low, but not much. The mag is definitely off. Everything else looks fine.

Looks like GMT is bottom of stack

Difficult to tell the hand stack but a lot of new gens have this weird mag issue now.
