Finished this last week.

It's my 2nd "budget" approach on a vintage Daytona.

Rolex Daytona 6264 PN

Parts:

Cartel 6241 Case

Old DW Dial

DW bezel

Sternkreuz T21 rounded edges

Genuine 6000 tube

Genuine 600 crown

Mods:

Movement sub-dial modification

Case reshape

Retapping of the tube

Slimming hands

Relume (Dial and hands)

Very nice work.  Like the vintage lume on dial and hands looks like a believable aging.  Also like the dome plexi better than the flat top on mine.

Great build! What was involved with the movement sub dial mod?

Moving the subdial @6 pinion to the right spot to accept a V72 dial.

Is it a functioning mod or frozen? I guess being the Cartel it's the ST19 movement that's frozen?

 

Regardless, it's a cracking dial and build. I'm well jealous!
