Hmmm... yeah... doesn't work for me... the steel or kevlar are both such perfect fits that anything else just looks funny... but if you like it then it's awesome!

Beautiful watch and a cool strap.. But the combination..? ;)

The Inge Chrongraph looks very high-tech with its black, angular style in stainless steel... To put in on a soft chocolate leather strap is like Darth Vader should have worn light brown cowboy boots or fur slippers...

I really like this watch but am a bit skittish about pulling the trigger due to the running seconds @ 6 issue. I have one of the infamous seconds @ 6 Daytonas sitting in my box dead right now and really would like to avoid a repeat. I know that the Daytona had 11 extra gears to make it work and used the older 7750 movement. Would you say the fact that this watch is using the new 28.8 movement bodes better for reliability? Anyone know what kind of mods they had to do to get the seconds running at 6 on this model?

edit:

btw... I agree chrgod... I like the strap and the watch separately... but together... not so much.

Cheers!

Kirk

  • 3 weeks later...

looks interesting, however not my cup of tea.

I just received mine from Eddie Lee - it is on the winder right know to see whether it is keeping time and if it winds properly. The second is very choppy and I sure hope that I am not faced with the same issue than on my 3 IWC Portugiesers..... Eddie ensured me that the issues have been fixed - we'll see!

I will post pictures once I am confident that it runs appropriately, it still has all the plastic on :victory:
