ubiquitous
Considering the price you ask for is very close to a gen dial price, I demanded greater accuracy, as you did in the past.Maybe it's a matter of translation and what not, but I don't think any of us are in the position to 'demand' anything. We can ask... Nicely. And if Rolli is willing to listen to constructive criticism about his dials (not criticism against his character), then maybe that is something he can consider.I know that he and FGD have been working on these projects for a very, very long time; I am very thankful that they are offering these dials to us forum members for our own personal watches. Yes, I am an indirect recipient of a 201/A dial, and yes, I am very pleased with it. I do realize that there may be details and minutiae on this particular 000 dial in which some individuals may view as incorrect (and they very well may be; I am not as well versed in modern Panerai as I would like to be, so I won't comment on that), but if we want the dial offerings to continue, I think we can be a little gracious and respectful to someone who is providing us as a whole with something to improve our watches as a kind gesture and not because they are obligated to. I would sure hate to have the door closed on us collectively because things went sideways while discussing fine details. I think a little gratitude can go a long way... And if a dial isn't to your liking, simply don't buy it.I think one thing to keep in mind is that production over the years and across model references have some interesting and crazy variations. I give Rolli and FGD a lot of credit for not only making the attempt to take on a project of this magnitude (and for so many different models), but for really knocking it out on the dials that they've done thus far.
rolli
it is totally wrong what you said, on the dial you see the indexe fillings, which are made with a stylograph ( like a Pen ) by hand with a vacuum pump. the indexe cnc milling contours which are made based on the engineer vector graphic are 100 coorect. on pictures ypou see always the lume material fillings, which can have here and there differences, that's why it could be that the one or other numeral bar looks with lume filling smaller or wider. or shorter or longer. in the internet you see manymny pictures and all have the lume filling differences, because it is made by hand. this recessed filligs is only posssibly by hand. rc tritec is for this the specialist. and i think you have not the long time experience like me to see the clearnes and how it works. you are too young and not with too much experience about this. i make it too long . so Now you were wrong again can sometimes happen better is to learn from its own mistakes regards rolli Ok mate, well said, I 'll shut up after this post. I appreciated very much your PreV, PreA and 36 dial, but this one imho is a flop. But if you feel you've done a good job and your customers are satisfied, the problem does not arise. Considering the price you ask for is very close to a gen dial price, I demanded greater accuracy, as you did in the past. As example, the problem is not just the fat fonts (available only in the 000 G-series as I know). If you go to check out, you will notice that the 3 index is different between 005 and 000. In the 005 dial, the upper rod is slightly short, while in the 000 dial, the upper rod is flush with the lower hook. My criticism is not intended to defame your business or person. But when you propose a product of high quality and very expensive, I demand the utmost care in every detail. Regards
