ETA 2873 Based Explorer Build

Hi,

I came across an ETA 2873 for cheap and was trying to decide what to build with it. I'm most interested in another vintage Explorer but had some concerns that this movement would fit. I stripped off all of the date change stuff and dial spacer and I think it will work but I wanted a second opinion about the height of the stem in the crown tube. The picture below is the 2873 in a JMB case. It's a tad off center but I think it would work OK. Agree? Or, is it too off center.

Thanks,

Andy

My first 1016 with JMB case used a 2873. Matt assembled it and if I remember thought the crown position was good which is why we used that movement.
