Need help: TC 16610 Sub V6

I just received this sub from TC which of course as expected is amazing. However, i am facing a wierd problem, the clock keeps perfect time as long as i am wearing it but when i take it off and lay it down more than 6 hrs it starts to delay time. It delayed 8 minutes when left for 14 hrs

Can anybody tell me what is wrong

I guess let's start with the easy/obvious first...

Are there any hands touching or making contact? i.e. seconds hand touching the minute hand?

Does the delay only occur in certain positions? e.g. crown up, dial up, crown down, etc?

Thanks for the reply. There is nothing touching and the watch works perfectly as long as i am wearing it, however, as soon as i take it off and leave it, it will keep time then after 10 hrs it will start to delay.

From what I understand that this is bormal for an automatic watch but after at least 24 hrs

It could be an issue with the main spring.

I'd just send it to a forum modder and get the movement cleaned and serviced. It'll last years afterwards.

Alternatively, take the opportunity to swap in a gen 2824.

Well, for the movement to be doing that this quickly after purchase, I would contact TC to get it resolved before sending off for service. Shouldn't be doing that out of the box.

I agree with want Tom says.

You could try winding the watch 30-50 times. If it's losing time after 14 hours, it could be a problem where the auto-wind assembly isn't working properly.

As stated above, contact TC, he is good about warranteeing his products.  I had similar issues with one last year and he replaced the movement.  It took awhile to get it back but TC is a great guy and easy to work with.  On my current TC, I just went ahead a put a genuine ETA 2824 with the higher canon pinion in it from the start...
