lovepanerai Posted January 4, 2007 Author Report Posted January 4, 2007 the early versions had the original ETA/Valjoux rotor, but this was changed due to cosmetic reasons. I wish they would use the bridges and rotor from the latest version
Maikel Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 Really nice pics...makes me wanna buy one too
rek001 Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 Exquisite! I've got the asian 7750 version on the way from Joshua, I can't wait. IMO, this is the most interesting and elegant Pam chrono design.

lovepanerai Posted January 7, 2007 Author Report Posted January 7, 2007 Fantastic pitures as usual... This watch is beginig to win me over the 212 I switch between my 212 and the 253 quite often - sometimes I like the simpler dial of the 212 better
Pam-O-licious Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 I switch between my 212 and the 253 quite often - sometimes I like the simpler dial of the 212 better Great, I'm back on the 212.. lol Next you'll ofcourse tell me to get both of them...
lovepanerai Posted January 7, 2007 Author Report Posted January 7, 2007 Great, I'm back on the 212.. lol Next you'll ofcourse tell me to get both of them... it is actually worse than that I got 3x 253s and 1x 212
flavor flav Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 it is actually worse than that I got 3x 253s and 1x 212 why did you get 3x 253s? curious. i agree sometimes the 253's dial is too much and the more simple 212 works better.
lovepanerai Posted January 7, 2007 Author Report Posted January 7, 2007 it started with me getting the first available 253 which was based on the old Asian 7750 movement - I upgraded to the Swiss Version with Sapphire and AR after that and couldn't resist getting the one with the new dial and better movement decoration thereafter...if there will be another better version I might get that too - I AM SICK

lovepanerai Posted January 9, 2007 Author Report Posted January 9, 2007 I suppose you didn't know Agnus is selling those dials separately for something like $30? yes I did, but that still doesn't get you the nicely decorated movement
cypher Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 I heard the 212 has a lot of problems with the glass and is quite an inaccurate replica. Is there a newer version out that has rectified this?
lovepanerai Posted January 10, 2007 Author Report Posted January 10, 2007 I heard the 212 has a lot of problems with the glass and is quite an inaccurate replica. Is there a newer version out that has rectified this? both the 212 and 253 have a lot of flaws mostly on the dial - it doesn't look like there will be another version that fixes all of the problems, but who knows
kidxer Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 Iyho, is the upgraded crystal in Joshua's PN25301 worth the difference to the PN25303? (I assume everyone agrees the PN25302 is overkill?)
