Bought this Tudor Ranger from a td. When it arrived I noticed the hands didn't sit correct so I brought it to my watchsmith to fix it.

Now a week later the hands are again in the same position as how it arrived, like 30min off after running a week with hands in correct position.

Does anybody know what this problem might be?

Either that or the hour pinion is slipping due to an excess gap between movement and the underside of the dial, this is usually the cause when a washer is not used on a 2824 movement, this latter problem is not evident with a 2836.

+1 to this.

There is a cover on the hour wheel in a 2836, whereas not on the 2824

What ssteel said. The 2824 uses a spring washer over the hour wheel. With out it, the hour wheel will slip up and out of position. Very simple fix.
