White dials

Recently I've noticed that I seem to be drawn to watches with white dials. Historically, most of my watches have been black dialled, however since Micky built my Seamaster chrono in white I need more white in my life. I do have a PO in white and a UN Maxi Marine Diver in white too but I need (yes need - you know how it works) a white PP Nautilus and a white VC Overseas. 

Here is the one that started my desire for whiteness. 

 

And the thread next door by Godfather with his white Nautilus leaves me wanting more!

Yes of course we understand that you need a new watch. I'm sure you have seen this before but the mathematical equation is n + 1 where n equals the number of watches you already own.

Well I thought desire was in infinite number, I was discussing need. I often wonder how I would cope if my partner said no more watches. I guess I would miss her.

I think white dials give a watch a clean, fresh look, especially, for watches commonly seen with a black or dark dial. Also, a white dial can make it more legible, which is a good thing.

In contrast to this thread, I had a gen 16570 and converted it to a 16710.  All for less than  $400!  But I still dig the white dial and hear you kernow.
