alligoat
Looks good to me! Congrats. Maybe a little polishing of the tops of the lugs, but it could just be the pics.
altesporsche
The case is quite dirty and spiderwebby will be polishing it over the weekend. I think it's pretty damn close to the real thing in person minus the small ridges on the polished part of the bracelet that I will flatten and polish when I get time. watchski
How much do you have invested in that beauty? It is very nice.
altesporsche
Not quite sure how much, I'd say roughly $3k I don't really keep track. $2k for the serviced 3135 $800 for the plat dial $140 hands $100 crown $?? Tube ( I have a few of them kicking about ) $175 gen crystal bought the 16622 with a serviced and modded yuki movement. I think that cost me $850 but I have the movement now sitting in my watch box. So if we add the above up we are closer to $3500+
jetfan20
Are you interested in selling the yuki movement?
CharlieUK
Wow, awesome build!!! Absoultely the best YM franken I've seen, huge congrats. How long did it take to get all the parts??
altesporsche
Thank you ! I do enjoy it quite a lot ! It didn't take long. Bought the watch a few months back and rounded up the rest of the parts while I was away for work in September then boom. So about a month for everything. When I get something in my head I can't just wait.. I'm too in patient lol
