Anyone know the Humph? Seminal British Trad Jazzer. I knew him better in his later career of "I'm sorry I haven't a clue" on BBC radio 4, which was a long running skit on panel games. He was the quizmaster and continually got away with the most outrageous double entendres by simply pretending he didn't understand. There was a fictional scoreboard girl "Samantha" who at one time was dating a chef and was very fond of his cock in cider. Anyway you should be able to find both the panel show and the music on the net

Was so sad to hear about Al Jarreau today. In my mid twenties I just couldn't get enough of his live album. I was singing along every word and note (except the real high ones:-)). Of course I was still living alone at the time. ;-)
