Isn't the 79350 a reworked and modified ETA7750?

two grand for a movement, then gen dial and hands plus the rep to base it on. I'm guessing you are going to end up three quarters of the money to a genuine IWC

From what I read it's based on the 7750 but highly modified. I won't pay $2k though. I'll make an offer. Already got the dial and I'm thinking the rep hands will do.

2k is steep for the movement. They used to be sold for $700-800 a few years ago.

For about $2k, you can get a Franken with gen movement and dial.

Plus, not all rep hands fit on the gen movement

What I can recall is that it's very heavily decorated, finished and has some redesigned parts to it, but if it is based on the 7750 then I would imagine it will fit a case a 7750 fits without too much heartache. If you go ahead, please start a thread on the build. Apart from being interesting to all of us, it will answer the question definitively for the next person wanting to know.

It is based on a 7750. IWC get them and finish them and rework some of the components. But basically it's a 7750. $2k is a lot ! They are usually around a grand currently.
