SuperDanX Posted March 27, 2018 Report Posted March 27, 2018 (edited) Really like the look of Trusty’s iwc Tribute to Mark XI. Any new vintage style reps are always welcome. Rep Gen Edited March 27, 2018 by SuperDanX
jackflash Posted March 28, 2018 Report Posted March 28, 2018 Very nice! I was hoping a rep of this would be made. The dial layout suits the positioning of the date window much better than the XVIII on which it’s based. Which to my eye looks as though it’s been positioned too far left. The longer hour markers and positioning of the numerals on the XI Tribute are better balanced. Pity IWC didn’t produce a no-date version, with a 38mm case, which would have been closer to the original 36mm XI. Here are the shots of the gen XVIII and XI Tribute; to see what I mean about the date window.
martijnp Posted March 28, 2018 Report Posted March 28, 2018 Pretty close to gen rep if you ask me! I like it
andyaudi42 Posted July 8, 2018 Report Posted July 8, 2018 Is the MKF the only one making this? Anyone know if other makers are taking this on and if they are able to get the case dimensions right?Such a nice looking piece, just a tad off dimensionally
Cromag Posted August 24, 2018 Report Posted August 24, 2018 The perfect IWC for a skinny wrist: Mark XVI on bracelet! Just back from the spa. Thanks Vac!!Case diameter: 39mm. Case thickness: 11.5 mm. Band width: 20 mm on 6.375” wrist (16.2cm) 1

Case thickness: 11.5 mm. Band width: 20 mm on 6.375” wrist (16.2cm)Yeah this is nice. The Mk XVI is classic. The tribute is nice. A little bit of vintage flare keeps it looking low-key. Really hope someone remakes the tribute with correct proportions
andyaudi42 Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 Nothing new on the tribute, still that MKF that has the wrong case...Any one else heard otherwise?
