Can you give more info on the crown? I want to replace mine ASAP. Thanks.

Flat topping: you just file the pointy tip down. The GENs are like that. I used a finger nail file to file it down then buffed it out. Put the file flat on the table hold the cannon pin upside down with tweezers and run it over the file. Do the same for buffing. So the 036 crown fits? WOW! I read that it did not fit cuz of the tube. Now I gotta get one for mine. Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the info! i was actually checking that out 2 days ago at the AD. the gens seem to just have standard ETA pinions. not flat or polished or anything. can you show some pics otherwise? your pic it's rounded (can tell by the light reflection) if they really are flat...i guess i have 8 manual pams to tear back down... i don't think they do though. where did you see this? i'd like to know for sure. i swear they are not flat... i've been wrong before though. flavor flav
Here's a pic of a GEN. ahhh....i see now. my thoughts... you will almost need a loupe to notice this. (i needed a 4x loupe to see) i cannot see it with my naked eye... if you use a loupe, you will catch the dial fonts are wrong and hell, if someone knows the cannon should be flat, they will know the watch is a rep. movement, CG, quality, ect..... i'll do it from this point forward but it's not worth redoing my others IMO. namor
Congrats, well done ! I am wondering since I first saw the 036 why they can make the crown nice and fat - and on most other PAMs they're just slim and bad...
