508-Fanatic Posted February 28, 2019 Report Posted February 28, 2019 That's pretty cool - box is always a nice plus. Did they send you pictures to verify that it's a Swiss ETA and not a clone?

Mark86 Posted March 2, 2019 Author Report Posted March 2, 2019 Anybody have a clone 3135 movement for sale 😬. May aswell try fit that then a clone eta. Thanks.
Sogeha Posted March 2, 2019 Report Posted March 2, 2019 They are not a direct or easy swap. You will run into problems with the stem height. Also the hands won’t swap over and the dial won’t fit unless you remove the dial feet.

Guest keeper Posted March 3, 2019 Report Posted March 3, 2019 There are no Swiss ETA movements available to rep makers. Surely by now the message has filtered down. Broken movements, spare parts....reverse engineering ...in reverse.
508-Fanatic Posted March 3, 2019 Report Posted March 3, 2019 It's still a perfectly fine rep, with a nice box. Enjoy it and I admire your attitude about learning. Believe me we've all made some costly mistakes I'm sure - I know I have Welcome to the community! 2
