jimcon11 Posted March 4, 2019 Report Posted March 4, 2019 That looks pretty nice to me, you should tell us more about it. Im having a hard time placing a date on that watch just by looking at it... looks vintage but the hands seem more modern to me.
alterego Posted March 4, 2019 Author Report Posted March 4, 2019 You are right jim. The aeronavale (original version) came out in the late 50's or early 60's. This look is probably from the late 80's, when Breguet revamped the caase and dial, adding new hands (see pic) turning a classic into a more updated watch for the avid sports watch market, that is still going strong today.

The new rep has a date window which completely ruins the aesthetic for me.... http://www.trustytime.club/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=aeronavale&x=0&y=0
alligoat Posted March 4, 2019 Report Posted March 4, 2019 It's one of my favorite reps also- I liked it so much I went out and bought the gen! The rep has the 7750 and the subdials are slightly outside of the gen's subdials, but otherwise it's a nice watch. The gen has the Lemania movement which Breguet calls the 582 Q. Both of my watches have the date window at 6- I just find a date is something I prefer to have. Sorry for the fuzzy pic!
