jabier510 Posted April 16, 2019 Report Posted April 16, 2019 Came across this guy claiming it’s a noob Swiss ETA 2836. Font looks off to me, but I’m no expert. $500 seems too high for me. At least the box looks decent.
cheld Posted April 19, 2019 Report Posted April 19, 2019 Misalignment of the date wheel and the fake diamonds (look at the baguette at 6) would be enough for me to pass. Plus, the gen President platinum goes for $$$$$$. Unless you laugh when you spill red sauce on your Brioni suit, you're not going to convince anyone that your Prez is real. 1
alligoat Posted April 19, 2019 Report Posted April 19, 2019 Andrew has a similar watch for $348- it's in 36mm http://www.trustytime.club/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_14&products_id=17639 He also has it in 40 mm with a clone 3255 for $10 more http://www.trustytime.club/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_452&products_id=17170 I don't know about the clone 3255- I'd stick to the 36mm model myself with the eta- don't know if it's swiss, but at least it can be dealt with easily enough.
jabier510 Posted October 17, 2019 Author Report Posted October 17, 2019 I passed, but have been on the hunt and came across this one. Seller claims it’s form Ryan at InTime, but I can’t tell too much from the crappy pix.
automatico Posted October 17, 2019 Report Posted October 17, 2019 I can not get used to the wide bezels.
jabier510 Posted October 18, 2019 Author Report Posted October 18, 2019 Yeah the bezel is what has me on the fence about it.
jabier510 Posted October 19, 2019 Author Report Posted October 19, 2019 Can’t tell what movement it is
