Tribal Posted January 14, 2020 Report Share Posted January 14, 2020 Hello Gang, I decided to build up a 16610 Sub with different Parts that I collected. As base I take an old WM9 Case that I had laying around for years. So I reshaped, satin and polished the Case like new. Installed a gen Tube and Crown. The bezel got a gen Insert. I installed a gen Crystal but it had some small spots on the bevel, so reinstalled again. Movement is a nice VR 3135 with gen Datewheel. The bracelet is a completely new 93250. The Dial and Hands comes from a JF. Here is the result. Next step will be a TC KH Dial and gen Hands. Hope u like it. This is a late MBW with the gen like bezel construction, a WM9 dial and hands, and a TC 93250 It also has the drilled lugholes which are hard to see in this photo This watch has a swiss eta- they're getting harder to find these days. Go the other Route and take a VR3135 movement, much better.In meanwhile I build a 16610LV and a 16800 too on a WM9 Base both with VR3135 installed.
