Stef,

I use a PAM 036 , with a black dial and not a brown like the gen has, on a daily bases. If I had to make a choice between the 2 watches , the way and frequency that I'm going to use to watch would be the key factor. The titanium case looks the best but the material is softer and it scratches easily. So if you want use it on a daily bases take the 111H otherwise go for the 177H

I hope this makes your decision easier.

It really depends on how you dress... The 111H is a dressier watch while the Ti 177H can be used for casual... That's not to say you can't do both with either watch.. but, I would deffinately get both in the long run.. :victory:

On another note: Man, that New 177h has got to be 99% can anyone point out a flaw? The font is correct on the 12, the pin is flush and it has a Beefy CG!

i advice you to go for a steel one, as titanium is really really light wieght compared to ss one :) a pam is to be felt on your wrist, a piece of steel go wear with pride. But on the other hand, 177h is deliciously astonishing too :p

take the 111 doesn't get any more Panerai than that - at AD's the 111 is harder to come by than the 177, my AD had a 177 on display now for a couple of months, but whenever he has a 111 it is pretty much gine right away. Taste plays a significant role on this one though - so ultimately you have decide whether you prefer the mirror polished 111 or the stealthier 177

For my first I went with the 111H. It's been my daily beater for the last month or so, it's a great classic.

Went to an AD last weekend and tried on a 177H and I was extremely impressed with the look and feel.

If you can get to an AD to try both on it might help you decide.

Either one would be a great first PAM.

Good luck and let us know what you decide.

I think lovepanerai put it best: it depends on your preference between shiny polished steel and brushed titanium.... other than that (xcept the weight), both watches are very similar.

...but when you start collecting anything - especially watches - you can never go wrong with a classic...

thanks for all your answers guyzzzzzzzzzzzzz :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Regarding your advice, I think I'm gonna follow 99% of pam lovers : gonna take the 111h.

And flavor flav is right... [of course, "Public Enemy's number One" :) ] when it'll be fully moded I'm gonna check for another one maybe the 177 :)

Anyway, Pugwash, my man, I'd be interested in getting this incredible "Luminous Panties", sure girls will get crazy about it :Jumpy::D

Thanks all and I'll let you know when I get it (I will take photos :))

Have fun guyz

;)
