I am not familiar with 'nh35' movements, but, if you have the skills, tools & will, almost any similar Sub movement can be made to fit a Sub case. Hopefully, someone with direct experience will chime in with a more definitive answer for you.

I'm thinking that the NH35 more closely approximates the 2836/2813 and the 3135 is closer to the 2824, so it might tough to fit a 3135 in a NH35 case.

Not without major inner modification.  You'll have to machine the inner diameter, plus the case clamp rails are quite possibly at a different height.  It would be cheaper to find a rep case that will fit a 3135 instead.

Specs on Seiko NH35:

Size specs on rolex 3135:

Caliber 3135 measures 28.50 mm in diameter and 6.00 mm in height.

See if you can find the stem location from the top of the movement to the stem centerline on the internet and that will be a good start toward finding out if they will interchange.

Good advice.

If you already have a case made for a Seiko NH35 you might get someone to loan you a non-running 3135 clone movement to try in the case, depending on where you live (shipping difficulties, cost etc).  Being new, you may have to pay a deposit on the movement though.  Remember what a famous politician once said:  Trust, But Verify.  Ha!

Welcome and Good Luck!
