hyster Posted January 27, 2007 Report Share Posted January 27, 2007 (edited) I bought a seawolf from King a while ago, when it arrived it had an unfinished pearl, I contacted her and she was great offering to replace it with a different model, no more seawolfs to be had unfortunately. I decided to keep it, the pearl was bothering me and as these things can, a small imperfection grew in my mind till it was spoiling the watch for me. I bought a gen dial on ebay and contacted Finepics to see if he would do the job. Send it on and Ill have a look he said. He was real busy over the festive period and I told him to take as long as he wanted (at that point I was sick of seeing it). I got a pm the other day saying it was done and I would have it the next day. I missed the delivery but picked it up this morning. I am really pleased with how it turned out. Gen dial fitted, superlumed and a bit of "Magic worked with the pearl" I actually forgot to tell him to have a look at the date which did not line up properly, guess what....thats fixed too. I'm really happy with it, finepics is a top bloke, I would not hesitate to use him again. Heres a couple of pics, one on the titanium bracelet. And one on a rubber strap. Never really got into Breitlings until the wife bought me a gen SuperOcean (wished it was the Steelfish, but can't complain ). I would like to see a kick ass Colt rep as well.
