ubiquitous Posted February 17, 2007 Report Posted February 17, 2007 Just for a change, here are a couple of new pics taken off the granite (and with a dash of natural light). And a quickie of the 1665... Granite is nice, but feels so... Monotonous at times What do you guys think? Better? Worse? Should I go back to the stone background?
elprimerozen Posted February 17, 2007 Report Posted February 17, 2007 Randy your watches are so beautyful ,where ever you took a photo, they are still SUPERB! But is my opinion they are a litle better on the black fond.....BUT the granite is YOUR TRADE MARK and must be kept like a trademark! Regards.
Pugwash Posted February 17, 2007 Report Posted February 17, 2007 Granite is nice, but feels so... Monotonous at times Stop it! You're making the baby Jesus cry!
ubiquitous Posted February 17, 2007 Author Report Posted February 17, 2007 Errr... So, what you're saying is stick to the granite?
Pugwash Posted February 17, 2007 Report Posted February 17, 2007 Errr... So, what you're saying is stick to the granite? I'm saying feel free to experiment, to be honest. As long as we get some granite shots as well, we'll not go insane.
lovepanerai Posted February 17, 2007 Report Posted February 17, 2007 Randy your watches are so beautyful ,where ever you took a photo, they are still SUPERB! ek300is Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Randy, what about wrist shot of the black dial one?
ubiquitous Posted February 18, 2007 Author Report Posted February 18, 2007 I'll snap one for you tomorrow Until then... How about this old one?
By-Tor Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Nice pics and watches as usual Randy. I like the white Daytona wrist shot. Natural lighting is always great, it brings up the colors and warmth to the pictures.
z80 Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Hand over a Daytona.. You must obey the Hypnotoad.... ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD!!
Pugwash Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Trademark...? We're a simple bunch really.
dieselpower Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Go with the granite. We always know its you when we see it. What is it? Your kitchen worktop?
manuel Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Oh my God! Is the white dial a genuine dial?
Falco Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 I really think the daytonas look great on Granite, steel vs stone
ubiquitous Posted February 18, 2007 Author Report Posted February 18, 2007 One last franken on the black...
hemicuda Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 i love your watches... only the black dials "swiss made" hmmmmm
ubiquitous Posted February 19, 2007 Author Report Posted February 19, 2007 Randy, what about wrist shot of the black dial one? Sorry William... It's a bit late...
elprimerozen Posted February 19, 2007 Report Posted February 19, 2007 Randy keep the black fond for your Vintage models as "Ubi TM Vintage Black fond"...for the onlyreason that is the first fond i see that matches the vintage dials.....keep the modern rolexes on granite. Its the best you can do...so it will be very nice. Regards
ek300is Posted February 19, 2007 Report Posted February 19, 2007 Sorry William... It's a bit late... wut Randy you mean you had it assembled before its delivered?!?!?!..... OMG its looking awesome! I can hardly wait.
jeff g Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 Granite!!! And Audi!!!!!!! Very nice, as usual.
ubiquitous Posted February 20, 2007 Author Report Posted February 20, 2007 Thanks, Jeff. The Audi is my wife's- Just a very simple 1.8T A4 Avant Sport (but with 6spd... Yay). It's a fun little car- Lots of fun to drive, great performance and suits her well (and the suspension comes slammed from the factory). We tried a couple different models for her- 4.2L V8 A6 and a 2.7T All Road, but both were a little too big for her liking (she does better with smaller cars, as backing up is not her strong suit). Unfortunately for us, a month and a half after we purchased her Avant, the B6 S4's went on lease special for around $500 a month- That's the one she really wanted. Oh well... As for me... I drive an 'old man's car' as my better half puts it. I've been wanting to get into something new, but this one's paid off and the idea of a new car payment isn't very appealing
Goochenbrau Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 I like the granite shots better, but Ive seen them a billion times now, so the change of pace is good
