buckeye
I'm heading to Hong Kong next week then on a cruise that will include Bangkok. I have the information on the store at the MBK Mall (I really don't have my hopes set to high). I'll be there for two days. Assuming I get lucky, how many watches would you think one could comfortably buy without running into a problem while re-entering the United States at Customs? I was thinking about wearing a Timex and just tossing it...but do you think I could add another? thought?

KB
Personally if you want to buy many I would just post them home to my house and friends houses. Ken
insane
I found it too time consuming locating the good watches at MBK. Rather spend my time outside with the people, sites, food and drink, and shop at our dealers when you get home. Its way more expensive, but I recon you've spent a few bucks on your trip as well. Don't want to limit your Bangkok trip to MBK
melvin johnson
I just returned from Bangkok with 7 Rolex copies. No problem, but I removed all the plastic, lables, tags, etc. I travel internationally all the time and have never been checked.

jfreeman420
US customs at cruise ports is very relaxed. I have been on several cruises. I have brought back Cuban Cigars and a nice collection of watches and handbags. I usually wear a brightly colored Hawaiin shirt on the way back and while everyone is waiting in line at customs I put a big stupid grin on my face and walk past the line like I don't even know why it's there. Usually the customs guy says "hey you." And I say "yeah". "Where's your green slip?" I give it to him and he waves me on. This has worked three times already. No waiting in line and no search worries. It also helps to have only one medium size suitcase, not a whole set of luggage.
