section8
I like those better than the $400 Tiffany's cufflinks I looked at a few weeks ago - which I did not buy
HauteHippie
These are neat. They could be DIYed for less, but not a whole lot less I don't think...
geekybiker
I just got my set in the mail. Both are slightly different. One movement is by Savoy watch co and the other is Wittnauer watch co. Very similar movements. Both hand wound, 17 jewel. The crowns are just screw in ornaments, not real crowns. I was hoping to wind these up and see if they'd actually move while I work them, but no luck. Very cool though. Ill have to take some pics on my shirt tonight. marrickvilleboy
they are awesome! I will have to make some one day when i have some time. But it would be really cool if they actually wind and run during the day. Only thing is it won't run for long as I'm sure i'll bump it and damage the oscillator and balance lol
hubster
I've also seen an automatic example with a moving rotor. Sadly they were made by Invicta. Would be nicer if they were generic.
