woody
I agree with many others, the case looks like a modded MBW, and threw in a lot of gen parts. when do we get to find out the "truth"?
Guest chronomat123
my gen sub cases dont have that notch either inside the case. maybe it was incorporated later on however but ive not seen it inside any gens ive looked in. it sure makes install/removal of the movement easier though. on the rolex you need to rotate it round quite a bit to free each case screw. My genuine 5513 has the "notch" present.
thewightstuff
What year is your 5513 though. It was mentioned above that a 78 sub had the notch. No 60s or early 70s case i have seen has had it and my two dont so i wonder when it was introduced.
TwoTone
What case is this - older MBW? The newer ones have the Polex engraving... Your's is correct in this aspect. It's probably the Case that was swapped from Bodo... @H You're on the Watch List... Tread lightly... Or better yet, simply move on... TT

therock
why did hemicuda never tell us if it was real? That seems like bad forum etiquette.
elprimerozen
why did hemicuda never tell us if it was real? That seems like bad forum etiquette. because its not his watch!
simmons3d
That dial is clearly a repaint. The print quality is just a bit sloppy, not to mention the allignment. If you look at the SCOC text on a gen, the "C" in chronometer is just about over the "C" of certified. On that watch the words are a bit too close together and the "C" in chronometer is almost over the "Y" in officially. I wonder if that watch has a "legit" serial number, something in the low 2 million range. I just hope someone doesn't pay 7 grand for it!
Pugwash
why did hemicuda never tell us if it was real? That seems like bad forum etiquette. It's worse etiquette to play a real-or-fake game if you already know the answer.
