ravishingrick
Checkout the panerai website... Just curious, what do you think of the new moddels? Prefer the new moddels, 1950-ish and radiomir moddels with crowded dials and impressive technical inhouse movements, or prefer the old school simplistic clean dial Panerai moddels (Lumonors, Bases etc)? V
Old school of course... Panerai has moved to a more profitable route.. Don't have any problem with that BUT I won't follow
babola
"New Panerai moddels have been released" ...yes, sadly... I'll stick to my old collection, most of my PAM reps are more Panerai than most of the gen Panerai watches these days. Sorry guys, but Bonati is not only 'loosing it', he's completely lost it. The real PAM afficionados will know what I mean by this. babola
Maikel
I agree with you guy's, I'm missing the simplicity in the new models. To be honest...for the price of the new models I rather buy a pre-A or pre-V Panerai. Nothing wrong with the new movements...I love it, but that's not Panerai...haute horlogerie. eunomians
Old is best. Once again... Richemont is ridiculous (on all fronts).

kanerich
Hey, it's cool with me. By changing its watches every couple of years and introducing about 10,000 different models (but all of them limited editions!) Panerai makes it almost impossible for casual fans, let alone lay people, to detect what makes a Pam a Pam . . . and as a consequece makes our reps more authentic seeming and better value. Watchmeister
The one good thing coming out of new models are dedicated movements. There is a finite number of watches you can make with a Unitas movement. the majority are though.
chrisbailey86
I prefer the more simple models too. I thought that was what made Panerai's so gorgeous?
sssurfer
I love second hand. I love date. I love power reserve gauge. So I love the new models. But even the 027-028-090 fit my needs. I just miss a sandwich dial on them (which the new models have).
