deltatahoe
each watch has with little details the right look and taste. rolli well spoken rolli -- i think your statement sums up nicely why on earth we could want so many different watches btw, i'm thinking about possibly pairing this watch with a MF 1942 strap....what do you think of this potential combo? i ask because you always have good taste in nice straps deltatahoe

deltatahoe
maybe, but for this brown dial you can not use many strap colors. rolli that's what i'm concerned about.....i like the way dluddly's 232 looks like on a similar colored tan strap (GeF cammello) though.... dluddy
I was thinking of getting one of these for it to replace the Cammello GEF Delta....Thoughts?
rolli
that's what i'm concerned about.....i like the way dluddly's 232 looks like on a similar colored tan strap (GeF cammello) though.... i have ordered a strap in the original 232 tan color, i will try it out. on your picture is the 232 with long pam127 hands. my hands have the original 232 length. first i've got also the long wrong hands, and then he sent the right one. the short hands are much better for this look. rolli
dluddy
Yes Rolli, I didn't like his pinched hands on his original so i asked for the 127 Hands. I didn't know he had the shorter (non-pinched) hands?? I do like the look of the shorter ones on yours PM to Davidsen
deltatahoe
this is good information guys i was about to order this watch from davidsen with the longer 127 hands.... @dluddy, i've been eyeing a couple of those strap culture handmade straps myself....they look nice, huh? if you decide to go for it and want to sell the cammello, let me know. however, i think the mp xi papaya brown strap (see pic below) might just be the perfect strap for this watch....i'm trying to track one down now... deltatahoe
dluddy
I'm keeping the Cammello for a summer strap on my 217. I have the MP XI Papaya but it is 24/24. I'll try to take a picture of it on the 232 for you to see.

I'll try to take a picture of it on the 232 for you to see. that would be great. what do you think about the mp xi papaya brown in general? i feel like i remember someone saying they felt like it was one of their favorite mp straps... thanks again, deltatahoe

deltatahoe
i was thinking the same thing (the mp xi papaya brown comes in 26/24 size as well) -- i had a 26/26 strap on my 183 once and it was much too big
deltatahoe
i was able to track down a mario paci xi papaya brown in 26/24, so it's on the way, along with the pam 232 from davidsen i'll post some pics when the combination is complete many thanks rolli and dluddy for helping push me over the edge on this one, and a special thanks to rolli for pointing out the correct shorter length of the hands (now let's just hope davidsen gets it right when putting mine together ) deltatahoe
dluddy
Good stuff. Look forward to seeing it. For what it is worth, I love my MP XI Papaya. I'm thinking the 27/24 SC strap is my next move - and the hand swap (Thanks Rolli)

archibald
Looks awsome...may be my next buy. BTW, I don't know anything about this model--what is the lugs mod that needs to be done?
deltatahoe
Looks awsome...may be my next buy. BTW, I don't know anything about this model--what is the lugs mod that needs to be done? the lugs protrude out from the case a little too much on the rep (ie. they should wrap closer to the case). you can read more about the mod from rolli in this thread here.... deltatahoe
rolli
the lugs protrude out from the case a little too much on the rep (ie. they should wrap closer to the case). you can read more about the mod from rolli in this thread here.... deltatahoe unfortunately the lugs shape from the gen and rep radiomirs are not my taste. so i have decided for the lugs with down curved shape, 'cause the entire form of the watch has more homogeneity. i have seen that some vintage radiomirs on pictures have the same down curved lugs. rolli
